Podcast

A podcast is a series of audio episodes. Unlike a live radio programme, you choose when to listen. Episodes are published online and can be streamed or downloaded.

Many radio programmes are also offered as podcasts afterwards, so a missed show can usually be heard later. That is a feature of the internet, not of DAB+. A DAB+ radio plays the live stations only, unless it also has an internet function.

The term is sometimes used for any recorded audio on the web, but the common meaning is a regular series with new episodes.
