DLS
DLS, Dynamic Label Segment, is the scrolling text on a DAB+ display showing, for example, the current programme or title.
DLS stands for Dynamic Label Segment. It is the line of running text that a DAB+ radio shows under the station name, typically carrying the title of the current song, the programme or a short message.
It does the job that RDS text does on FM, and for the listener the effect looks similar. The broadcaster chooses what to send, and the radio only displays it. How much of the text fits depends on the size of the display.
If the line is blank while the sound is fine, the station is probably not sending text at that moment. It is not a reception fault.
