DVB-T
DVB-T is a terrestrial digital television standard. It is a TV system, not a radio standard, and appears here for comparison.
DVB-T stands for Digital Video Broadcasting, Terrestrial. It is a standard for sending digital television over the air to a roof or indoor antenna.
It is a different system from DAB+, which carries radio. The two are sometimes mentioned together because both are digital terrestrial broadcasting and both replaced older analogue services in many countries.
For a radio listener the term is mainly a point of comparison. A DVB-T television does not receive DAB+, and a DAB+ radio does not receive television. If you live in a home that once relied on terrestrial TV, check the current situation with the provider before assuming anything.
