Factory reset
A factory reset returns a radio to its original settings and deletes stored stations and presets, which often clears persistent faults.
A factory reset puts the radio back into the state it had on delivery. Presets, stored stations and personal settings are deleted. The manual or the settings menu shows how to do it.
dabplus.ch recommends a reset if reception problems continue after the other steps, such as extending the antenna, moving to a window and running a new station scan. After the reset, the radio must scan again from scratch.
Note any presets you want to keep first, because they will be gone. A reset does not help if the real problem is a weak signal, and the checklist places it as the last step.
