Station scan
A station scan makes a radio search all channels and build a list of the stations it can receive at its current location.
A station scan is the search a digital radio performs to find every station it can receive. The radio listens across the DAB+ channels, collects the multiplexes it finds and builds a station list from them.
A radio scans automatically on first start. After that, the list can go stale, and dabplus.ch recommends a new scan when reception drops or when the radio has been moved. A scan is also the first thing to try after a factory reset or when new programmes have been added.
The result depends on antenna and location. Stand near a window with the antenna fully extended before you start a scan.
